CareerForce in Blaine Career Lab is available for job seekers and features the tools and resources needed to find a job or make a career change. Staff are available to discuss a variety of job search techniques and practices to help job seekers find employment opportunities. Call 763-324-2300 for additional information.
Assistive Technology is available to help customers who are blind, visually impaired, or have other physical impairments to use computer programs, web sites, and read printed materials.
Provides assistance with car repairs, insurance or vehicle registration. Up to $700 grants may be available and do not need to be paid back.
Current or former military members, no matter their era of service, receive priority services in all CareerForce locations and employment and training programs. Specialty trained Veterans Employment Representatives assist eligible veterans who have significant barriers to employment.

- Basic Resume Writing - If you haven’t ever written a resume or it’s been a while, this class will bring you up to speed with the most current information regarding file formats, styles, best practices and how to target your resume to the job posting.
- Career Exploration - Whether you are thinking about making a career change or you are just launching your career, this class will help you get started. Increase your awareness of the many factors to consider when making a career decision.
- Interviewing Skills - Do you get the jitters before an interview? Become more confident by preparing ahead of time, learning techniques you can use to answer questions, and how to close the interview.
- Job Talk (Networking Group) - Connect with fellow job seekers for group discussions on job hunting and networking. The session will begin with a brief 15-minute lecture on a specific job search topic. Following that, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and share comments on general job search matters, inquiries and concerns.
