This 273-acre area offers a rare opportunity to develop, operate, and maintain a regional park on the Mississippi River from the initial stages of management to complete development.
Proposed development of the park includes a Center for Sustainable Landscape, which would provide an educational and interpretive center to illustrate sustainable design and best management practices.
This park is largely undeveloped, but a small paved Mississippi River boat launch includes eight trailer stalls and six vehicle stalls. For more information on the future of this park, please view Mississippi West Regional Park Master Plan Opens a New Window. .
Anoka County Parks is grateful for funding provided by the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment to complete projects within the park.
