Improvements to be Made at Bunker Lake Blvd., Martin St. to Improve Sight LInes
Commissioner Mike Gamache noted that last week there was another accident on Bunker Lake Boulevard and Martin Street. He asked Anoka County Highway Engineer Joe MacPherson to talk about plans for that intersection. MacPherson noted that when two cars are in each turn lane at the intersection, it’s difficult for drivers in those cars to see past one another, which can create a dangerous situation when turning. He noted a contractor has been hired to address this issue, and the plan is to offset the lanes to improve sightlines. To watch the video on this item, click HERE.
