Agreement Reached for Wetland Restoration
The board approved a memorandum of understanding between Anoka County Public Health and Environmental Services –– Recycling and Resource Solutions, and Anoka County Parks for the removal of class 5 gravel from a previous compost site in Lino Lakes and the restoration of the area to its original condition. Information Offered on Housing Market Trends and Sales
Commissioner Mandy Meisner noted that during the Property Records and Taxation Committee meeting, the committed received an overview of property assessment value trends and sales ratio. She said the majority of truth-in-taxation phone calls that were fielded recently were related to residential properties and the loss of homestead market value exclusion, which phases out at $413,000. 2022 Election Numbers Recapped
Commissioner Meisner also offered a recap of the 2022 general election. Turnout was 68 percent, and the canvassing board unanimously voted to select 6 precincts for the post-election review, rather than the required four. Donations Accepted for Sheriff’s Office K-9 Program
