Medical Reserve Corps
The Anoka County Community Health and Environmental Services Department may need the support of volunteers during a public health emergency. The Medical Reserve Corps is a volunteer organization that utilizes the skills and abilities of all individuals. Volunteers will be needed to perform many different jobs depending on the emergency. Although some of these jobs will require a professional license such as a registered nurse, many of the job duties require no specific health training.
The Anoka County MRC volunteers have a wide variety of skill sets. Many volunteers are healthcare professionals; however, you do not need to have a medical background or medical experience to become a volunteer. Our volunteers must be over 18 years of age.
To register as a volunteer, visit Minnesota Responds and create a profile account. If you have trouble creating an account or would like more information before registering, please contact the Anoka County Medical Reserve Corps Coordinator.
