   • All items considered for addition to the collection will be evaluated as would any other items being considered for the collection, generally following criteria outlined in the library’s Collection Development and Management Policy. 
   • Items added to the collection will be subject to the same retention standards as other library materials and may be withdrawn and disposed of over the course of time.

    The library also accepts for consideration donations of library materials by Local Authors. If you would like to submit your book for donation, please fill out this form and a mail copy of your book(s) to Library Support Services (707 County Road 10 NE, Blaine, MN 55434) or bring the book to any of our libraries.

    • Donated materials become property of Anoka County Library and cannot be returned.
    • Donated materials must be in new or like new condition and, if added to the collection, will be part of the library’s circulating collection, searchable in the library catalog, and available for interlibrary loan.
    • Donated materials are subject to the library Donation Policy and the Collection Development and Management Policy .
