Join us in taking the pledge on Thursday, September 19 for World Car Free Day.
It is celebrated in over 1,500 cities around the world and focuses on commuters not being dependent on single occupancy vehicles. This will be the first year Anoka County hosts this event, although it's been celebrated in Minneapolis since 2016. Anoka County Commute Solutions can help coach you on how to use transit, bicycle commuting, carpooling, walking or teleworking. We want to hear your commuting story! We're giving away a free breakfast for the organization that has the most participants. Plus the grand prize for an individual that shares their commuter story is a bike from Erik's Bike Shop. We will also be randomly giving away gift cards to local businesses near your workplace!
Take the pledge today.
But wait there's more! If you take the pledge AND follow Anoka County Transit on Facebook, you will also be eligible for one of three 31-day bus passes. If you don't have access to Facebook, you will be eligible for other passes.
