Vans are leased monthly to a designated primary driver and must carry at least five people (including the driver) who share the ride at least three days a week.  This is a great option for those commuting where transit service is limited!

Key Details are:

  • Routes must not duplicate regular bus, light rail, or Northstar Line services.
  • The average cost is $110 per month per participant.

The Northstar Commuter Rail, which connects Big Lake to downtown Minneapolis, is the only train service available in Anoka County.  Four of the seven stations along the route are located in Anoka County.

Bus
Anoka County Traveler
The Anoka County Traveler is the bus service for all fixed routes in Anoka County. To verify if there is a route that fits your commute, use Metro Transit’s Trip Tracker online tool.  If you don’t find a route, double-check with Anoka County Transit, as additional bus options may be available.
